Welcome to the July issue of Legacy’s Home Tours of 2019.  Mandy has been a loyal Legacy customer for several years and when her journey began with the dream of having her own home built, she was determined to make it the perfect forever home for her family.  After touring model home after model home, they were able to combine two floor plans into one with the help of their contractor.  So much thought went into the plans that both Mandy and her husband Nathan wanted….he wanted his barn and she wanted a pool with plenty of space for entertaining. The end result was everything they both envisioned and more!

They love to entertain and wanted a house conducive to having a lot of people over, so the kitchen and living room are the biggest part of the house. Opening up to each other and both overlooking the back patio and pool create the perfect space for family gatherings and holidays!

They call themselves the Marek Farm. Mandy, Nathan and their daughter Mallory share their home with 4 dogs, 6 barn cats (Mandy claims her husband is the cat whisperer lol), and a ginormous tortoise!

Their daughter’s room is adorable and decorated perfectly with all of her favorite colors and the things she enjoys most, making it a little slice of her own heaven where she loves to spend time!

In addition to their gorgeous home, they built Nathan’s father a 600 square foot house behind theirs featuring a one bedroom, one bath with full amenities. He absolutely loves it there and has the best of both worlds!

Even the beautiful guest room in their main home has exquisite touches of decor to make it the perfect retreat for any guests!  Who wouldn’t want to come visit?

Their home has so many beautiful amenities and Mandy’s amazing talent to bring it all together for the perfect place to raise their daughter and to showcase her love of entertaining, family and decorating abilities is a true joy to see!

One of the best features they love about their home is the master bedroom and it’s considered one of their favorites decorated with intimate details creating a warm, cozy and romantic style with the beautiful decor they chose.

Mandy and Nathan were honored to have their home chosen to be on the Angleton Chamber of Commerce tour of homes last Christmas. Mandy agrees it was a wonderful and fun experience, but so much work! She put up a total of 12 Christmas trees and decorated all of them herself! Each tree had its own theme matched to the room it was in. I can’t even imagine how much work that was, but how exciting…..you know how much we love Christmas at Legacy!! Their home was featured in the Brazosport Facts newspaper not once, but twice!

Thank you Mandy for your ongoing commitment and support of Legacy and a big thank you for letting us get a peek inside your beautiful home!  You have outdone yourself, the results are absolutely stunning and gorgeous!
